Course objectives and description
Aims : Introduction to programming and computer algorithms.
Themes : The course will introduce students to the basic concepts programming and computer algorithms. Feasibility of algorithms, optimization, metaheuristics and data analysis. Tools and UNIX/Linux environments, computer networks, data structure, complexity, Python notions.
Organisation : There will be five 3h lectures in the mornings, followed by 3h practicals (TD).
Assessment
Students will be evaluated based on their attendance and active participation in the lectures and seminar.

Lecture and computer practical handouts will be provided to the students.
